I purchased a new savage in June 2000.
I have changed the oil once and used Castrol GTX 20w-50. I was thinking about using a synthetic because it should be more stable at higher temps. Gets hot here in Kansas, 100+F.
I was wondering what oils long time owners use? Thanks .
